Deaf Outreach Services (DOS)

Deaf Outreach Services is a MN state licensed 245D service provider serving Deaf/Hard of Hearing adults who experience challenges in daily living for individuals living in Minnesota.

Services Offered

​Independent Living Skills Training (ILS Services)

This program is funded by waivers such as Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals (CADI), Elderly Waivers (EW), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).



Deaf Living Sober (DLS)

Deaf Living Sober is a peer recovery support program
for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deaf-Blind individuals located in the Twin Cities metro area. DLS provides sobriety support services for people in recovery who may also experience mental illness.

Services Offered​
  • Post-treatment support, education, community systems connections and care for recovering chemically dependent individuals who are Deaf/Hard of Hearing/Deaf-Blind
  • FAR Club “Fun ASL Recovery” - A peer run recovery support group AA/NA/CA meetings at Thompson Hall in St. Paul. Wednesdays 6:30 PM 
  • Community Resource training for Deaf and Hard of Hearing
  • Building stronger support and sober socialization opportunities
  • Support in establishing relationships within the community and Deaf/HH/DB friendly resources
